The Story Behind Dolley's
Dolley’s was founded by Autumn and Katie, two moms who shared a simple idea: their community needed a place like this.
They set out to create something that could bring people together in the everyday moments—after games, on neighborhood walks, or during an afternoon treat. Ice cream felt like the natural fit: familiar, joyful, and made for sharing.
The name Dolley’s is rooted in local history, inspired by Dolley Madison—a beloved First Lady known for her connection to early American ice cream culture and her lasting presence throughout the community. It’s a small nod to that sense of tradition that still shows up all around the area today.
Dolley’s is about continuing that sense of connection in a modern way—one scoop, one gathering, one shared moment at a time.
